3 Natural DIY House Cleaners

By | 4th August 2015
If you’ve enlisted the services of Chelsea domestic cleaning providers and would like to cut down on the amount of chemicals that are used in your home, why don’t you make your own all-natural cleaning products for a change? Here are three ideas that are easy to do yourself. Grease remover Who hates cleaning the oven or the grill pan? You can make it easier on yourself if you combine half a cup of ammonia with around 4.5 litres of water to really get rid of that tough stuck-on grime and dirt. All you have to do is dip your sponge into the mixture and wipe it over your hob or grill, then just rinse it all off with some fresh water. Brass cleaner You can get brass to come up looking really lovely if you mix the juice of half a lemon with a teaspoon of baking soda. This will form a paste, then just work it into the brass using your fingers or a soft cloth if you don’t want to get your hands dirty. Give the metal a good rinse off with clean water afterwards, then buff it up with a clean and dry cloth. Bath cleanser Unless you keep on top of your bathroom cleaning from the get-go you can get all sorts of nasty limescale and stains on your tub. Did you know that if you sprinkle some coarse salt over half a grapefruit you can scrub the tub up so it looks sparkling and like new? Try this at home this weekend.
